Description
Essential Responsibilities
Lead the development of the long-range forecasting models, annual plan/budget and period/quarterly forecasts (including Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow)
Responsible for planning, forecasting and analyzing gross margin for the brand and improving forecast accuracy through in-depth analysis
Develop and lead business analytics activities and metrics development
Build dynamic financial models to help drive strategic business decisions
Serve as Business Partner to various departments to develop and provide financial analysis, insights, and decision support
Prepare standard and ad-hoc analysis for the brand leadership team to enhance decision making capabilities and assist in achievement of strategic and tactical goals
Understand the various data management systems and identify opportunities to better leverage data and reporting
Calculate variances from the budget/forecast and analyze drivers

Outstanding communication (written and verbal), presentation, time management, and organizational skills
Able to prioritize and plan work and determine appropriate resources
Contribute to the development and review of business plans to ensure consistency and alignment with strategy
Highly motivated, self-directed, and results driven
Clear and well-organized advanced Microsoft Excel modeling skills
Strong understanding of GAAP and operational accounting
Experience with database reporting tools (SQL Server, Business Intelligence / Power Query, etc.), including writing and executing queries
Must be organized, detail oriented, flexible and able to prioritize multiple projects with short deadlines
Microsoft Dynamics GP experience preferred
Education and Experience
Degree in Finance, Accounting or Data Sciences from a four-year college or university
Minimum 3-5 years of restaurant FP&A experience
Physical Demands
Exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including papers, boxes and/or computer equipment.
Sometimes requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Required eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports.
