Chicken Salad Chick Social Media Coordinator in Atlanta, Georgia


Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day scheduling of content across all social media channels

  • Create editorial calendars, including concepting, writing and editing social media posts, improving guest engagement, and promoting social media campaigns

  • Coordinate monthly social media calendar execution

  • Schedule and consolidate content on social media. Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics.

  • Deliver monthly engagement report to Brand Marketing Manager

  • Manage photo and video asset library

  • Coordinate social media photo shoots including serving as the liaison with the photographer, scheduling shoots, developing concepts and shot lists and managing logistics

  • Research and present new platform opportunities for consideration

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness

  • Embrace and embody the brand culture and voice in all aspects of the position

  • Work assigned events and capture content to use in future digital efforts

  • Copy Writing for digital and social media placement

  • Collaborate with graphic designer to produce high-quality content

  • Represent the Brand when engaging with and responding to guests on social media platforms

  • Maintain a unified brand voice across different social media channels for the respective markets

  • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries

  • Provide reports on online reviews and feedback from guests and fans

  • Coach our franchise partners on social media best practices

  • Assisting with Grand Openings for New Locations

  • Facebook and other needed social media page set-up

  • Working with our digital listings partner for Google and search setup

  • Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent organization and time management skills

  • Excellent technical knowledge of social media platforms

  • Current active status on social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn & Twitter in particular

  • Working capabilities in the following: Microsoft Office Suite with excellent skills in PowerPoint and Excel, Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign highly preferred.

  • Working capabilities in social media management platforms: Sprout Social, Hootsuite, SOCi, or similar

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, PR, Communications or related field

  • Minimum 2 years full-time professional experience directly involved in coordinating social media pages and or digital ad/PR campaigns

  • Recent experience in social media and digital content creation

  • Social media planning for multi-location franchise marketing is a plus

  • Recent Agency experience in PR, Advertising or Digital Marketing is a plus

Physical Demands

  • Exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including papers, boxes and/or computer equipment.

  • Ability to see, and distinguish colors

  • Ability to hear

  • Overnight travel as needed
