Chicken Salad Chick Staff Accountant in Atlanta, Georgia

Description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Represent the Company with the highest level of integrity, always doing what is best for the Brand

  • Reconcile daily store deposits (this includes cash, credit card, and other)

  • Enter daily sales reports into accounting software

  • Conduct periodic reconciliations of financial accounts to ensure their accuracy

  • Prepare manual journal entries during the monthly close process

  • Assemble information for external auditors during the annual audit

  • Reconcile bank accounts

  • Reconcile and maintain monthly inventory entries

  • Perform Concur maintenance

  • Maintain fixed assets and reconcile corresponding GL accounts

  • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements, including sales and use tax filings

  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system

  • Any other duties as assigned by management team

Qualifications

  • College degree in Accounting or related field is preferred

  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping

  • Outstanding communication, presentation, time management, and organizational skills

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
