Summary of Position

Prepare a variety of products including chicken salads, pimento cheese, side salads, soups, sauces, cookies, desserts, and other food products using a variety of equipment and utensils. Strict adherence to CSC standards for recipes, Speed of Service (SOS) goals and products is required and must maintain kitchen cleanliness/sanitation standards.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Essential job functions require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, reaching/lifting arms above head, and standing and/or walking for prolonged periods of time

  • Must be able to lift 25 – 50 lbs.

We ask you to:

  • Adhere to Brand Standards for uniform appearance and personal grooming.

  • Complete duties on opening and closing prep and checklists.

  • Refer to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties.

  • Prepare a variety of food products including chicken salads, pimento cheese, side salads, soups, sauces, cookies, desserts, and other items for cooking/serving to Guest according to CSC recipe and product standards.

  • Understand and comply consistently with CSC standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.

  • Prepare all Guest orders with strict adherence to CSC standards for quality, portioning and appearance standards.

  • Prepare all Guest orders adhering to CSC SOS goals.

  • Prepare all food products in accordance with CSC portion sizes and recipe specifications.

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation including tables, shelves, walls, steamer, sandwich line, and refrigeration equipment.

  • Close the line kitchen properly, following the closing checklist for line kitchen and assists others in closing the kitchen.

  • Attend all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.

  • Promptly report equipment and food quality problems to Management.

  • Inform Management immediately of product shortages.

  • Use our Standard Recipe Cards for preparing all products.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Management.

Applicants will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary. Prior experience is preferred, but not necessary.
