Chicken Salad Chick in Paducah, is looking for motivated, dedicated, and creative intern to help market our growing brand.
Position Summary:
The promotions intern will work directly with our owner and management to successfully plan, organize, and execute all promotions and other special projects. The successful candidate will gain experience in all aspects of building a brand from increasing awareness to building loyalty, including (but not limited to) promotional giveaways, event planning, sampling and promotions, and community engagement.

The Position :
We encourage our Local Marketing Intern to find and facilitate events that will uphold and promote Chicken Salad Chick. Our Local Marketing Intern will represent the above values by promoting our brand through creative events and social media throughout the year as well as coordinating and driving in-restaurant & catering sales.

The Responsibilities:
· Create a local and regional marketing plan that includes local activations, community events, and social media.
· Build Chicken Salad Chick awareness through guerilla marketing initiatives, such as, Pop up sampling days, sampling our Limited Time Flavors, passing out goodies & catering flyers to prospective Chicken Salad Chick guests. Facilitate tracking and follow up of these visits to convert them to sales opportunities.
· Manage Chicken Salad Chick’s Facebook and Instagram pages, and incorporate the Chicken Salad Chick lifestyle and the local Community by creating social media posts.
· Work with the Chicken Salad Chick Managers & District Manager, as well as the Chick Support Center’s Marketing Team on upcoming events, and facilitating sponsorships and media opportunities.
Minimum requirements:
· In Pursuit of a Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or Related Field is preferred.
· Experience in following computer programs: Google Workspace, Canva, Trello, is preferred.
· Strong communication & positive people skills.
