Company Introduction:

Chicken Salad Chick provides a delicious menu with a variety of 12 Chicken Salads, homemade sides, delicious soups, and great sandwiches. This location is one of the originals to the franchise and we are looking for a hospitality professional to help us maintain a team of excellence and superb service.Overview:

At Cojak owned Chicken Salad Chick restaurants, we rely on committed General Managers who are friendly, enthusiastic, and who genuinely enjoy serving guests and developing teams. Our General Managers are trained to independently manage the overall operations of their assigned unit. Chicken Salad Chick is closed on Sundays. Our operational hours are Monday through Saturday 7a-9p and our guest service hours are Monday through Saturday 1030a-8p.

As a Cojak owned Chicken Salad Chick General Manager you will:

  • Demonstrate a passion for the business and managing the overall operations

  • Find, train, develop and recognize the best people for the restaurant team

  • Manage daily activities to ensure all guests receive highly satisfied experiences

  • Demonstrate a strong awareness and concern for food quality and safety

  • Adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities

  • Display a sense of urgency that creates surprisingly fast speed of service

  • Provide attention to detail that ensures preparation and production brand standard procedures are followed

  • Demonstrate a passion for business growth and profit

  • Maintain an organized, clean and friendly work environment

  • Proficiently complete daily and weekly administrative tasks including planning to budget, inventory, costs, staff development

Behavior Characteristics:

  • Work a maximum of up to fifty hours per week in the restaurant

  • Allocate at least seven hours per week to planning

  • Focus on systematically and effectively communicating all related goals and success factors to Team Members

  • Combine critical thinking and practical leadership to effectively demonstrate a sense of ownership

  • Effectively coach and give direction with a servant's heart

  • Intentionally and methodically grow and nurture relationships with the staff

  • Be able to connect with a multicultural and diverse team

  • Align hiring, training, daily practices and evaluation practices with the vision of the organization

  • Enthusiastically and passionately lead the team

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Inventory management

  • End-of-Month counts and input

  • Maintaining accurate Operational Tracker

  • Accurate weekly administrative paperwork

  • Effective & efficient ordering

  • Maintaining a CLEAN AND SANITARY production environment

  • Coaching, evaluating, and providing accountability for all Team Members

  • Troubleshooting and repairing equipment and facilities

  • Ensure all necessary preventative maintenance and cleaning on a per set schedule.
